What am I voting for?

  • Vote for OPSEU/SEFPO, and you’re voting to join together with more than 25,000 hospital professionals across Ontario

When do I vote?

  • Voting begins: Monday, Oct. 4 at 12 noon
  • Voting closes: Wednesday, Oct 6 at 12 noon

How do I vote?

You can vote: Online or Telephone

Eligible voters will receive a personal identification number (PIN) by email before the vote behinds. 

The PIN is strictly for personal use and must not be shared. A valid PIN is required to vote.

Will my employer or co-worker know how I voted?

No. The vote will be held by secret ballot. Voters are entitled to vote without interference, restraint, or coercion.

What if I don’t receive a PIN number, or cannot access my PIN number?

Call the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB) Help Desk at:

The OLRB Help Desk will be available to help you:

  • Oct 4 – 1pm – 3 pm
  • Oct 5 – 12 noon – 1pm
  • Oct 6 – 9:30 am – 11am

Denis Chenier

Your OPSEU/SEFPO Staff Representative is Denis Chenier.

A 25-year OPSEU/SEFPO member himself, Denis has been working as the paramedical staff rep at the Kirkland Lake hospital for the past eight years. He knows your work, he knows your employer, and he knows your community.

He can be reached directly and can be on-site within an hour – a big difference from the 1-800 number you’d have to call to leave a voicemail for your far-away LiUNA rep.
